Top 10 easy cleaning product swaps for people with sensitive skin

It seems like more and more of us are suffering from skin complaints like dry skin, psoriasis, and eczema. Is there anything you can do from a cleaning perspective to reduce the number of irritants you are exposed to? Well yes, yes there is. Here are some ideas…

Replace fabric refreshers with water based products like Dew.
Move from biological laundry detergent to non-bio.
Avoid heavily perfumed sprays. Go for more natural products or ecloth and water.
For many people, gloves protect hands, but be warned, for some they are the cause of skin irritation.
Don’t use fabric softeners, try vinegar instead.
Damp dusting is the way forward.
Look for dishwashing liquids without all the perfumes and dyes like Ecover.
Any product containing benzalkonium chloride is likely to irritate sensitive skin.
Bleach is a common culprit
